My Summer Break

So I've taken a bit of a hiatus from blogging this summer. Lately I've been watching the Beijing Olympics non-stop, which has thrown off my sleep cycle. Gymnastics, diving, track and field, beach volleyball, even BMX. It's addictive. Good thing it's only every four years.

Seems like there's been a flurry of activity from our friends. Alissa has returned safely from her European adventure, tackling an impressive list of cities from London to Paris to San Sebastian. Dani is answering the call of the beach by moving from NYC to LA. Mya and Chris are buying a house in the burbs. And those in the newspaper world are plotting their escape.

In other news, Phil and I are expecting a baby boy this December. We are excited and busy prepping for this big life change. We are headed to a wedding in Portland, Oregon over Labor Day Weekend and then staying put for awhile.
