Garden in the Hood

My friend Liz came to visit and July and we popped by the garden on my street, which is a lush oasis of native plants and vegetation. This garden is often on the tour of homes, but I've never visited the eccentric gardener and his yapping terriers up close. Liz is a talented landscape architect in Brooklyn so it seemed as good a time as any. As a funny aside, she almost had to cancel her trip since she was passing through Atlanta on a trip to Panama City, Florida, but had accidentally booked her flight to the country of Panama!
