Owen has been saying Chinese words and shows a lot of enthusiasm for new languages. The other day he was looking in the utensil drawer and said the Chinese word for banana. I said, "No, that's a spoon." He insisted it was a Xiang Jiao. I started to go to get a banana when he opened the drawer again. Lo and behold there was an ice cream scooper with a handle that looked like a banana!
