Time Flies at the Beach

We made our annual trek to Narragansett, RI and enjoyed some perfect beach days at Bonnet Shores. We celebrated his nana and papa's 40th wedding anniversary. Quite an accomplishment.

How quickly things change in a year. Last summer Owen was just crawling around and this year he was marching around like he owned the place. He loves to take "roll call" so he would shout "Na-na" or "Pa-pa" whenever someone left the room. If he heard any squeaky noises from up above, he would shout "mouse," "upstairs" and then clap. We're not sure if he was trying to lure or scare the "mouse" away.

He's starting to string some words together and some of the phrases sound pretty funny. I'll say, "You're cute." And he'll respond, "I KNOW!"

Here is a short video of Owen greeting his grandparents (Wai Po and Wai Gong) as they arrive in Rhode Island.
