One of my favorite questions to ask people is how they decided where they live now and where else they would consider living.
This video podcast poses this question to a couple on WSJ.com on Love & Money. It's short and entertaining to watch them weigh their pros and cons. This particular couple has lived in CA, NJ, Louisana and Washington State.
For me, important factors are: proximity to the city, lifestyle (restaurants, access to the arts), cost of living, weather, work opportunities and public transportation.
Cities I've lived in: NYC, DC, Boston, London and Atlanta.
Places I'd like to live someday (if $$ was no object): SF, Paris, Rome, Rio, Beijing, Bangkok, Capetown and Shanghai. And the list keeps on growing.
