Still Dreaming of Thailand

As you wind through the streets of central Bangkok, it's almost impossible to walk a block without encountering a street vendor or two, peddling noodles, fruits or food on a stick. It's also impossible to resist the wafting aromas of spices and grilled meats. Plus Thais like to eat small meals so they eat throughout the day. The NYT article, "Street Smarts in Bangkok," says "Bangkok may boast the finest street food on earth." Indeed.

If you like kao soi noodles, check out Thai food blogger Austin Bush at www.realthai.blogspot.com. My friend Ginger, who is living in BKK teaching English, has some funny stories and excellent photos on her blog, Ginger Uprooted.
