Reconnecting with My Peeps

Lately I've been reconnecting with a lot of old friends, thanks to Facebook, email and blogs. I do have to wonder though, with all this technology at our fingertips and experiencing digital overload, are we are more or less connected?

To my delight, I am in touch with my fourth grade teacher Mrs. Schectman, who was my favorite teacher of all time. We went to visit her recently and she showed me all the essays she saved from my class. In mine, I described the school year as "dynamite" and "spectacular."
