We took a relaxing weekend jaunt to the beach in Southern Thailand. It takes about an hour by flight to Krabi (pronounced 'crabby') and then a 40-minute taxi, followed by a ride in a long-tail boat to
Railay Bay Resort and Spa. This area was hit hard by the tsunami but it is absolutely beautiful. Blue-green waters and gorgeous views in every direction. Rock climbers swarm here to scale the limestone cliffs, but we came during low season (called 'green season' because it is rainy) so it felt like we were among the lucky souls to discover this beach paradise.
