One Day in Rome

We managed to pack a full day of walking around in Rome from one beautiful piazza to the next. Our hotel was just a stone's throw from the Colosseum. We barreled past the queue at the Colosseum and walked through the Roman Forum with gorgeous views in every direction. We bought tickets at the Palantino museum and then double-backed to the Colosseum.

As we tried to make our way to the Pantheon, we stumbled upon the Trevi fountain. Of course, we threw a coin in to guarantee our return to Rome someday! The highlight was dinner at a pizzeria in Travestere by the river.
