Maybe it's the caffeine rush that I crave. But there's nothing better than sipping my freshly ground coffee in the mornings. We are headed to Portland, Oregon next weekend and I can't wait to try Stumptown Coffee. I wanted to interview the owner a few years back but he was leaving for Rwanda the next day. I should have jumped on the story because the NYT did a great piece called "To Burundi and Beyond for Coffee's Holy Grail" on how he arranges for special bicycles to be donated to the Rwandan coffee growers.If you've been to Portland, pretty please recommend some places to go because our itinerary is wide open.
